Skirmish at Wolcott Mill Registration

October 17th thru 19th, 2008

This is the first time the "Skirmish at Wolcott Mill" is being run. There are no participant or sutler fees. All horses must have their Coggon's papers. Wood, straw, water, will be provided.  Cavalry and artillery need to pre-register. There won't be any cavalry walk ons allowed. Due to fire safety rules all artillery pieces need to pre-register. Individual pieces will be contacted by our safety officer prior to the event.

 

Note: Important information to be aware of.

No vehicles will be allowed to enter the event site after 11:00 pm Friday. All vehicles must be in designated reenactor parking 8:15 am Saturday morning. Any vehicles in the camps after 8:15 may be towed at the owners expense. You will be allowed to bring your vehicles back in  after 3:00 pm on Sunday.

All reenactors are expected to be period dress through out the event.  Please be considerate of your fellow reenactors and stay in period dress.

 

Registration:

Thursday noon until 10:00 pm

Friday noon until 11:00 pm

    We will allow Infantry and Civilian walk ons at the event for 2007. You must arrive and register by Saturday morning 9:00 a.m. or Sunday morning before roll call. Civilians may arrive up to 11:00 am. on both days.

 For Military participants only:

Allowing individual walk ons to participate is strictly up to the discretion of our Overall Commanders. It is important that you know someone who is registered for the event so they can vouch for you. We will not under any circumstance let unknowns participate at any level!

All Military participants:

    All military impressions must have their equipment and rounds inspected before being allowed to participate in any Military Activities. If it is found be of ill repair, that you do not know proper military drill or proper safety rules you will be asked to leave. We have seen this rule being ignored at other events endangering our brother reenactors. Safety is of the utmost importance to us and there won't be any exceptions to this rule!
